Now, the backpack has only been used for a week long trip to Amsterdam, so far. The material.. appears to be very durable and up to the job... The shoulder straps are well padded and the sternum strap makes the backpack comfortable to carry for long periods. The clam shell form of opening makes it very easy to pack...
